The BIG move

Mall chess was alive and well today at Crossroads mall which is near our Lake Hills home in Bellevue Wa. The mall is a great community gathering place...lots of families gather for game playing events and there's always a chess game going on. Actually all around the big chess game there are many people sitting at surrounding tables playing chess games.

Inclement weather, to say the least, found us playing our own game of farkel and taking Sat. lunch break at the main mall eating court gathering spot. Afterwards we came for for an indoor movie with a back drop of a hailstorm outside! Spring has gone back into hiding.

Good news from our Pa. family to learn that a benefit to raise money to help defray hospital bills and other costs for one our our nieces there in stage four pancreatic cancer had 1300 people buying spaghetti dinners! This was a super turnout...too bad it is necessary in so many ways. Thinking of you tonight Pa family!!
