Village walk

Our friends who have just arrived are not mad keen skiers so it’s a nice opportunity to get out and explore a bit more. We had a walk today with a guide from the tourist office. Usually they would do snowshoe hikes but the snow is not good enough on the tracks. But we had a really nice wander round the local paths and through the village below our chalet. It was interesting to have the local knowledge of the guide.
In the afternoon I drive to collect MrKT from the end of his ski tour. We had to do a long drive to collect his friends car which they had left parked up in another mountain village, thinking they would be able to collect it by bus - they could, but not today! It was a typical mountain drive up and down hairpin bends on narrow roads - and a stunning view back across to our village and ski area.
