Stage 2 continued

I went to the gym first thing without Chris as he was working for the second Saturday in a row. After lunch with Dad, I headed out to the garden to carry on digging it over. The weather was unbelievably warm for March and even though it has been warm and dry all week, the soil was perfect for digging. I spent ages digging out the big root ball that is on the drain cover but this is the shrub that has been spreading and popping up everywhere so I needed to dig this parent plant out. There's still lots on this side and some on the opposite side too but I felt like I made real progress today.
This evening, Chris and I went out with out friends Paula and Bill for a lovely meal.
