The Halo

I walked up to M&S this morning. I only needed a loaf of bread, but it was worth the ten thousand steps there and back. The sun was shining and the sky was blue. I’ve been very good for the last couple of weeks or so and I can now get some trousers on I haven’t fitted into for a while.

Pat and I went on a little jaunt at dusk to find the Haslingden Halo. Just as we climbed to the top of the hill it lit up. The sunset was lovely behind it. We took a few photos, but didn’t hang around as we had to go back through some woods and it was getting dark.
