Great Tits!

We enjoyed a walk midday from home to the nearby village of Whitchurch, nr Ross on Wye (Herefordshire) where we sat at Woody's Coffee Shop rear garden in the sunshine enjoying a cuppa. We continued the walk along the River Wye back home watching the wildlife.

Mid afternoon, granddaughter Amelia and mum arrived for a few hours to drop off Mother's Day flowers and cards. It was lovely to sit in the extension with the sun streaming in.

After they'd gone this evening, I noticed a Great tit on our rear garden Ash tree (extra) and then the female in our next box. I was going to take it down a couple of days ago to put up our camera nest box we brought with us on our house move. It looks like that will be delayed now as I spotted them flying in with nesting material - infact you can see some evidence on the female in the nest box!  Just great they're here even if we can't spy on them inside!
