Oasis...

I'm in a local wildlife group and a couple of weeks ago, somebody posted something requiring a few volunteers.

This beautiful, private, local oasis will soon be home to 20 water voles. I've watched them for hours and hours, and so felt able to volunteer.

I went for the first time this morning, as did a couple of other people who would like to volunteer. The couple who have transformed this little area of land have been there for six years. They have done an amazing job!

I'm now allowed to go whenever I like to help monitor etc.

I feel as though I have been given one massive, amazing present.
