on the easter lily - who's life now hangs in the balance...

most of the blossoms have fallen off - given up - this one is barely surviving - it makes me somewhat sad - that flower blossoms don't last forever - i understand they go through cycles and all - it's part of nature - what is... it's simply that as we've been enduring this very long beginning to spring here - i want things to last longer indoors - so somehow had hope these would remain with me a tad bit more than they have - i don't know much about what happens with the plant once the blooms are gone though - does it stay green - do you pitch it - does it go back to being a bulb waiting for next years growth to start again... i'll need to find out -

whereas in the past this type of research might have bored me - now i find it very interesting - taking pictures every day - getting my nose into nature - experimenting - exploring - this is what has happened - the world has opened up - become so much more to me than when i was a younger thing - it's contributed to making for...
