Sand Bay Beach
Today we headed out from Bristol to this massive beach just north of Weston-super-Mare. It was a gloriously sunny day with a clear blue sky. We were among the few without a dog (or even children). There were plenty of people about, but with such a large area of beach (and it was low tide, so the beach extended for a considerable distance and the sand turned to mud further out) it never felt in the least bit busy.
Back to Bristol this evening for an excellent Sri Lankan meal before attending a concert at St George's of music by Vaughan Williams (the first of a series of concerts to celebrate his 150th birthday). This is our first live music event in two and a half years thanks to Covid-19. It was very pleasurable.
