Happy!
So happy to be here with with kids and Grandkids!
Beautiful drive up from Yorkshire with spectacular views all the way.
Everyone arrived within half an hour of each other and Frank’s Birthday was soon in full swing, coffee, beer, wine and cake and a curry banquet for tea.
By 9.30pm we were all flagging. The kids after not seeing each other for so long were soon racing about and having a whale of time together.
My poem is only half written so I will put it up tomorrow.
Too tired!
Goodnight :-) zzzzZZZZZZ

Not a Care in the World
The whooping and laughter of children
is magic to my ears
They don’t care that they haven’t seen
each other for a year
they just take up where they left off
before the lockdowns
no awkwardness or shyness, just giggles
and clowning around
wobbly teeth and boys will be boys
and pre-teen flicking of hair
climbing, teasing, hide and seek
life without a care….
just as it should be.
