Les Corts Camp

Barcelona FC (founded in 1899) played their first game in their new football ground in1926, here in Les Corts, Barcelona. They invited the Scottish Cup holders, St Mirren (my home town team) to take part and beat them 2-1. Quite a complex, multi/layered stadium, for then. I had only seen pictures of the pitch and stand before so it was a surprise to see all this. It was replaced by Camp Nou (New Camp) in 1959, ten minutes walk away.
