Definitely Not Football !

Thank you everyone for all your stars and faves for the tiny mouse blip yesterday. A very different big picture tonight.

The Sons game against Falkirk was cancelled today as they ( Falkirk ) were playing in the semi final of the Cup against Hibs. We did watch that on the telly. What topsy turvy game that was. Falkirk , the div one team were 3 -0 at half time. Who would have expected that from a very young but able team? Full time Hibs had brought it back to 3-3, extra time a wonderful goal from Leigh Griffiths put Hibs into the final. Well done Falkirk for a magnificent effort and good luck to Hibs in the final, what a come - back for them after that 5-1 drubbing in last year's final. here's hoping theywin this time.

What was that title ? No football? WEll it was this afternoon after the football we went ot Inveraray to watch Inveraray play Glen Urquhart . Finished 2-0 to Inveraray which was a good result for a team who are rebuilding their team having lost all their mature players.

This is an extremely tricky game to photograph as it is so fast and the players change direction so quickly, also they are big hitters and that wee ball can fly great distances up a massive field , so suddenly the action is in a entirely different place . Because of the size of the pitch I had to change the lens for the big Sigma and when the players came near the area where I was standing Ihad to anticipate and move well back to get them in the frame
( also to make sure I wasn't hit by the ball which is lethal.

Looking forward to having another go at Shinty photography when the football season ends.Better light in the sumer and a chance to improve on my sports photography.
