Fletch and blossom

We decided to see if we could buy a magnolia  shrub. As Abbey House was en route  we went there for a stroll around the grounds. Chatted to the gardener who said the trees that were being removed had ash die back. A shame.  
They are still planning to extend the carpark too, so some of the grassy area will go. 
 Another shame although there will still be plenty of green space for us to wander over and Fletch to enjoy. 

Up to the garden centre . The magnolias were not very impressive. Small twiggy things and no sign of flower buds and  bearing in mind that the only magnolia we ever had never flowered we decided against buying one... just as well as I'd forgotten my purse 

A   bit  cooler today but still warm enough to sit in the sun.
