This bridge over the Esk was built by a bloke who wanted to see his lady friend!

It is beautiful.

Now it is sandwiched between a modern road bridge and the railway bridge, both of which are 'functional' [Hideous].

On this walk you are then forced to climb an almost vertical path through a plantation to meet the road at the top.
