Causey Pike

A lovely drive up through the lakes to meet a friend at Threlkeld for a walk to Keswick.

Another lovely day with very little wind and the lakes were looking lovely with wonderful reflections.

I met GG and we walked along the former railway line, stopping for lunch in Keswick and then returned to Threlkeld where tea and scones were devoured.  A really good catch up with her and a wonderful walk which I wish to repeat with Santana.

On the drive home, there was an accident at the side of Thirlmere which blocked the road.  I had to retrace my route and return home via Dockray, Glenridding and Kirkstone Pass.  Quite a detour but with such a beautiful day it didn't matter at all.
