Horsepool

Way,way back in the day, this was the area where the horse drawn vehicles would stop to give the horses refreshment as well as the drivers taking advantage of the pub opposite. 
When I moved into the village 22 years ago it was derelict, overgrown and unloved until a dedicated group raised funds and brought it back to its former glory. The pond is now a haven for wildlife, there's a storytelling area at the back and benches are dotted about for those who just want to sit and have a coffee or read a book.
The cottages on the right are some of the oldest in the village.
