Goosebusters
Picnic on the beach day.
First off all we had to find the beach. This involved a bit of off-roading but we found one, maybe not the one but it was definitely a beach.
Some read, some explored, some slept. We all heard and saw the geese as they flew over a couple of times. When the clouds came over it was chilly so we decided it was time to head to the pub.
It took us a bit longer than expected because the blue car got stuck. The following things didn't get the car out:
Reversing
First gear
Diane trying both
Cardboard under the tyres
Wellies and socks under the tyres
Going back to the beach, getting stones and putting them under the car
The right number (but wrong type) of people trying to lift the car
And finally,
Jacking up the tyres and putting more stones under the car
So who you gonna call? Yes, we were rescued by the Goosebusters. If you've seen a goose...luckily we'd seen lots and so had Peter so he was not far behind us in a four wheel drive truck with tow ropes.
Needless to say we went straight to the pub which led to going home and drinking more wine and then singing Sing Star into the small hours.
