Stretch

The two-mile stretch of the Forth and Clyde Canal between Bonnybridge and the Falkirk Wheel recently reopened after being closed for several months for remedial and strengthening work along the towpath. Therefore today was the first time I had been along there for a while.

I didn't actually go out until after 6.00pm, having spent much of the day doing chores around the house and generally having a relatively relaxing day. Most unlike me.

A wander along to the Wheel and back, the return leg being carried out mostly in darkness.
