My topsy-turvy life

Flying high

Manchester for 7:30 for dilatation #16. It was still supposed to be one parent only but as Owen and Louisa were stuck in the theatre waiting room for nearly an hour, and Owen was running amok, they let me go in and wait too. He was very pleased to show me his Pyjama Fairy gown and I even got to go onto the ward afterwards.

The operation was all about as routine as possible thankfully and he was only in theatre for about half an hour. A bit of inflammation and a bit of tightening but that stretched out should hopefully mean his swallowing is a bit easier again. He was a bit upset and sore when he came back but soon back to his usual self after a bit of food and a couple of presents.

It's a long, long way from having these operations 5 days apart but going back in always brings back memories of those early days. He's always an absolute superstar whenever we have to go in.
