Lyme Regis
Today we were at Lyme Regis. First thing, we walked The Cobb, which is probably the must do thing in Lyme Regis, especially if you remember The French Lieutenant's Woman. Then we walked around the harbour where there were loads of interesting things to photograph (eg the blue and yellow boat for Ukraine and a shy seagull - see extras). After lunch I was booked onto a fossil walk. No not a slow walk for the elderly but a guided walk for budding fossil hunters. It was fascinating. There was some explanation of where to look and how to look and then time on the beach to search and get expert help and guidance. I will photograph my finds (nothing monumental) at the weekend after cleaning.
