We popped down the allotment for an hour in the sun. Dug a new bed, planted some more raspberries, planted gladioli, tidied up a bit & checked out the damage to the onions. Some pesky invaders are chewing the tops off the onions. Whatever it is has left the garlic alone, so must be a picky eater. After asking around we found it could be; birds, rabbits, mice, rats, slugs, snails, cutworms, deer or squirrels. Hoping they’ll recover.
