Not quite as planned

Today started early as Mr L wasn’t well again. His back is sore again and we were up from 5am. Fortunately we had an appointment booked with the vet anyway but my goodness it was a long four hours until we were on our way to the vet.
The lovely vet kept him in and did some blood work which revealed some inflammation. It’s probably coming from back/spine/joints. We might end up with a referral to the vet school but for now he’s home on medication and back to short on lead walks.
