‘I’m a very messy eater’

I have two Goldfinches visiting quite regularly and they do hang around for what seems like ages compared to the tits who just grab and go. I Watched them this afternoon and I’m sure they spilt more seeds than they ate ….. no wonder the pigeons are back patrolling the ground below the feeder.

A spot of gardening in the afternoon but not a great deal achieved …. think I need to make a plan but I know that the first job is to cut up the remaining twigs and fine branches from the pruning of my pear tree …… wrap the bits in an old sheet and then take them to the tip.
