Today was bright but hazy. The lake (Windermere) would have made a good photo this morning when I drove past but there were no parking spaces.

When I was out later my eyes were drawn to the orange* spot on the roadside grit/salt bin.

* I’m sure it was orange though it looks more pink on my iPad screen.
