Bridges

It's ages since I've taken a boat up the Thames. We started by the Cutty Sark in Greenwich and had lunch in the sun on the South Bank. Sharing a table with strangers, the two topics of conversation, intelligently and amiably discussed, were completely predictable: Covid and Ukraine. We barely even had a moment to comment on the weather.
