Gardener's helper

Prepared the ground and planted the hamamelis and perovskia purchased yesterday.  The robin was always nearby.

Cleared some bramble before it got too comfortable.  My oriental poppy has some leaves poking through. It's got to be resilient as OH mowed it last autumn.  The mower in wrong hands is the garden version of a sherman tank.  Also found a potted plant with toothed leaves.  Wonder what it will be?

Bought the first bunch of local asparagus this year.  May rustle up some version of pasta primavera for dinner.

Covid cases are high of late.  Unsurprisingly.
