We had an amazing day at Rosliston Forestery park.

We were there from 10.30-15.30.
There was a talk on falconry and then we went for a walk with two falconers and their birds. We took hundreds of photos against different backgrounds. The birds were so beautiful and sooooooo BIG!!
Scarily BIG.

After lunch they did some demonstrations one of which was a deceased rabbit being dragged along the ground and the eagle chasing it down. It was amazing to see. I took loads of shots as you can imagine, some bad and some ok. The one I've used for the blip is an ok one :-)

Before we went for the walk we saw some video footage of an eagle swooping to get the hare but it missed because the hare jumped 8ft over the eagles head WOW. It was awesome.

One amazing day was had by myself and my friend Maggie. I will be putting some pics on my flickr page soon.

Good thing that happened today -

I had an amazing experience at Rosliston forestry center and it didn't rain!!! Till we'd finished.
