Tolbooth, Canongate

Taking advantage of a mild April Saturday afternoon and playing tourist on the Royal Mile but avoiding the tartan tat shops (Will this consultation make any real difference going forward...?)

Dating from 1591, this is part of the Canongate Tolbooth, the main municipal building for the area when this was a separate burgh of the city.
