The Kraftwerk Gang

If I'd known that picture of my new t-shirt was going to be today's Blip, I'd have taken a better photo of it, to be honest. I bought it to wear for the joint birthday lunch that Charlie and I had with the Minx, Hannah, and Milly and Dan, who came to visit from Leeds and London respectively.

In the morning, Milly and I did a nine-mile run along the Irwell as an assessment of our readiness for next week's half-marathon: Milly has missed some training due to a second bout of Covid and I'm having some residual trouble with my knee.

In the end it was fine, though. No problems with the run for either of us, and in the lovely weather that blessed my birthday, yesterday, too. I intended to take a photo of the Clifton Viaduct for my Blip, today, although why I chose to take a  photo of the overgrown interior is beyond me (see Extra).

And in the evening, I went down to Seven Bro7hers on Middlewood locks for drinks with Dan, Hannah, and Milly, which made for a perfect end to the weekend.
