Full of beans

Bean has extra beans in her jeans today. She’s been endlessly playful, as well as running full tilt all over the place on both of our walks.

Vegetarians and vegans be warned, you may not enjoy the rest of this Blip.

I can only put it down to slightly different food. She is on a raw food diet, which normally comprises chicken necks morning and evening, with one egg and a teaspoon of honey a day. Every third evening she also gets a blended mix of various raw veg, fruit, herbs (whatever is in season) with some boiled rice (a hangover from her previous owners).

However Covid has stopped the supply of chicken necks to the pet food store, so I’ve had to scour the shops for alternatives. As a result she has eaten raw chicken wings for the last couple of days.

And I have a super-bouncy dog :-)

Elsewhere I spent the morning in Farmers En and Arr’s garden. Their property is on the market so they’re keen to keep it as tidy as possible, so I’ve been asked to wield secateurs and a hand hoe for a couple of days. Bean ‘helped’.
