Wednesday: Toytown

Much excitement for Booky this morning as I got the bus into work.  That was a first and I was very pleased to work out the bus routes.  Although, if truth be told, it was very straightforward.  And, rather pleasingly, public transport is free until the end of the month.  It’s by way of an apology for the disruption caused by the truckers.

So…..I’ve alluded to the fact that people here aren’t as friendly as in Vancouver.  One nice habit that Vancouverites had was calling out thank you to the driver as they got off.  That doesn’t happen here either.

This is the view from my office - it does have a bit of a toytown effect looking down.
