Stowaway

I had a small order of plant arrive today.. and as I cut open the box this fellow fell out!!  Luckily he didnt appear to have done any damage to the contents but I determined to find out who he was before releasing him into the garden.  Turns out to be a scarlet tiger moth.. having checked what their caterpillars prefer to feast on I delivered it to an area of comfrey and hope I might see it flitting about in a few weeks time.. it looked rather weary after its journey but crawled under a leaf speedily enough.
