Feeling the Nine Mile Burn

Woke up to another sunny day. It’s beginning to feel like we’re back in Spain!
We set off for Whitmuir the Organic Place in the morning as sadly we found out that it’s closing down next week. We then headed to fellow blipper nadinepierce’s neck of the woods to do the Monks Rigg loop, including a rather steep climb up West Kip!
After our walk and picnic, we headed into Edinburgh as we found out yesterday that we’d been allocated free tickets (ballot) for Van Morrison at the Playhouse. Not been there for years and now twice in one week! On our way to pick up no 1 son and then home to Peebles. Memorable day.
