Macro Day

This is a Birch Catkin Bug. I took myself to Brandon Marsh this morning. Thinking  it was a decent time and a Wednesday I thought the car park would be fairly empty! I was wrong, I got the last space. I spent four hours wondering and trying to get the tiniest of bugs. Although I got a few I was not totally happy with the detail and super close up ones. I saw several Brimstone butterflies and a couple of Peacocks dancing with each other. 
I didn't take the 200mm butterfly lens as I really didn't think Id see any. Next week if the weather is fine and warm again Ill take that. I can only take one kit so have to content myself with one type of shot.
Got a Clover Mite too, they look like red velvet chairs!
