The green of the spring

Or rather, the green of the pond at the local country park.
Spring is bursting out all over, but the pondweed’s really taking it to extremes.
( OK I know it’s a really boring photo. I’m just feeling a little deflated, realising that lockdown began two years ago today, and people are still catching the damn virus ).
