The weather has once again been beautiful today. As I strutted my stuff first thing I decided I wasn’t going to let anything rain on my parade during the work day.

Some colleagues in our morning briefing questioned my ability to see this through. I’ve taken names and will have my vengeance in this life or the next.

True to my word I managed it and dealt with triumph & disaster with the same level of equanimity.

Now to prepare my famous spaghetti bolognese using the recipe I gave to the late great Antonio Carluccio.
