Lone tree

Finally the sun put his hat on and it was a beautiful day. We decided to do the Faranamanagh loop walk - blissful. We saw
two choughs
a cormorant
a lot of gulls
a cluster of ruins
three butterflies
three humans (unconnected)
a fishing boat
one pig (kine kune)
four llamas
some big old walls
two swans
one holy well
and this lone tree.
A fire had been lit on the hillside some time ago, the bracken was flattened and the walls revealed.

Edit: and I didn't realise it is Joe Tree Day, how serendipitous . And it's Wild Wednesday's 6th anniversary - all going on!
