Cherry blossom

Not in bloom outside yet, at least not her in Maine. I bought some cherry blossom twigs for a friend who is sick-- she grew up in Philadelphia where they are likely in bloom for real. Bought some for our house too, and yesterday they burst open.
Tomorrow's forecast calls for ice pellets and snow. Carter's first high school lacrosse game is supposed to be in the afternoon. Cape vs Waynflete.
No wonder New Englanders talk so much about the weather. It's easy to obsess and live in the future waiting for the warm up that usually feels just out of reach!
