Outdoor chess

I had a day in London today and saw this chess board in a park. Normally I wouldn't have taken today's blip in such bright sunlight but I was amused by a pigeon that was strutting around on the chess board (maybe thinking it was really a rook?) but my approach frightened it off. Never mind, I still took the shot and have told the story of the 'one that got away'.
