Polperro

Polperro is a still working fishing village on the south coast of Cornwall, a bit west of Looe. 
My friend who lives in Looe had a winter let, which now has to be given up to be used for holidays  from April to September. He was lucky to get a long let (ie year round) in Polperro. It’s a very touristy place, but very attractive, with lots of good walks all around. The main is of the river that runs down into the harbour, between the backs of cottages.  The extra is of the steep garden at my friends house - it will be exciting to see what appears - it has palm trees, and fab camellias are currently flowering. My gift for his birthday was a big box of various types of bird food, and feeders, to hang around the garden
