if it's not the moon ..

.. it has to be curling.  We drove to Murrayfield ice rink in Edinburgh today for the final of a ladies competition held between ice rinks across Scotland. Our ice rink won the heats for ice rinks in the west of Scotland.  It was a lovely day, meeting up with friends and acquaintances from all over Scotland.  Unfortunately we came up against a very strong team from the south of Scotland in the semi-final and were beaten two games to one.
