"Taddies"

Well, that's what we used to call them as kids.  It is a poor photo so for those who can't see they are Frog Tadpoles.  These ones reside in Kanyl's pond.  Every year he has masses of spawn and later on the garden heaves with froglets.

It is worth noticing that the Tadpole curved round is still showing external gills.
