With "Ski Me" in Chamonix

So I met up with "Ski Me" who drove up from Milan today. The weather was good contrary to my worst fears. We had a great couple of runs from 11'000 ft altitude. Most people walk down towards the steep slopes on this magnificent glacier when they come out of the Summit station. Of we walked up another 100ft to the über panoramic platform. We were greeted by this signage.We had to climb over the railing you see with our skis on our shoulders and walk a short but almost terrifying fine path that had a metal cable as a help and to not let go ! After ten minutes we reached the point where we could just about put on our skis. The rest was easy. Pretty steep but awesome powder and our privilege.
