S*** Happens

This morning, my mother's carer found my mother on the bathroom floor. She had fallen and broken the radial bone in her right arm.

Thankfully it's a clean break, and after a mere six hours of waiting for a doctor in the ER, she got a plaster cast (in the extra) and was discharged.

In the afternoon, I went grocery shopping for her and her carer. Just like last week, there was absolutely no pasta or vegetable oil to be had.
I didn't need toilet rolls today, but the huge, grey, (almost) empty shelf seemed like a fitting blip for this difficult day.
