The Blackberry Isle

Tasmania has long been called the Apple Isle - their apples are great but spectacularly outnumbered by blackberry bushes growing wild (it’s a noxious weed in NSW)!! Here we see isbi harvesting in preparation for tonight’s dessert.
Extra is another shot of the magnificent Huon River. The further we travel up the river, the more it reminds me of the 70s movie “Deliverance”.
