Serious stuff

The pic shows Stephen one of our Computer Science placements from DIT, working with Robert, Our Head of farming, in our Chimiliro house for volunteers. Robert is just back from a conference and field work on conservation farming in Zambia, just a few days away by bus!!
This lesson by Stephen, was on databases and spreadsheets, which Robert will use in farm management. He has a solar powered laptop on the Lusangazi farm, with a dongle for network connectivity and a link with the information highway and outside world.
Stephen is an amazing teacher, with time for everyone, while Robert is an excellent student who is so anxious to learn (everything).
