Getting My Ducks in a Row

Bay Drive Walkway,  a sliver of riparian corridor flanked on either side by  asphalt of Bay Street, is serene haven amidst a busy street with commuters heading to and from campus (University of California Santa Cruz).  We take this route on our early morning walks and today  there were five ducks floating about in the spring-fed stream. Three lined up so photogenically.  I suspect there will be some ducklings later in the season!   After our walk, we continued  'getting all OUR ducks in a row".... Packing, cleaning, checking off 'To Do List items"..less than a week to go until we go!
