Favourite lines from "On Love" by Alain de Botton:
*About how the most predictable happenings cause us to reflect in unpredictable directions .."
*It would have taken a steady mind to contemplate without superstition the enormous improbability of a meeting that had turned out to alter our lives..
*The telephone becomes an instrument of torture in the demonic hands of a beloved who doesn't call.
*In the mature account of love, it is only when we truly know our partner that love deserves the chance to grow.
*Love seems indispensably connected to stories. Powering most love stories are obstacle. Paul and Virginie, Anna and Vronsky, Tarzan and Jane: all struggle against odds that confirm and enrich their bond. In a jungle, on a shipwrecked boat or on the side of a mountain, classic romantic couples prove the strength of their love by the vigor with which they overcome adversities.
*Whatever the pleasures of discovering mutual loves, nothing compares with the intimacy of landing on mutual hates.

Humor:
Remembering that one time I asked T how I looked with his pink "Pop Star" hoodie. He said you look like a half teenager, half senior citizen.
*Yesterday, attempted to harvest a pineapple from our neighbour's yard. Asked permission from Eric (Ate Richie's beau/husband). He said ok but it was funny because the pineapple was not even ripe yet.
*Papa taught me how to properly wear a cycling helmet :
Papa: Simple lang nyan Di mo po makuha. Front at Back Lang.
P(I)a: .......
Papa: Ayos lang naman Kung baliktad, pagtatawanan k lang ng mga biker.
