It was a bit of a rush to get out the door this morning. I had messaged a guy with an excavator yesterday to see if he could meet me today for a quote. He finally got back to me at 8:30 am to say he could meet me at 9:30. It takes me almost 30 minutes to get across the city to where the job is located. It was half rain/half snow as I was driving there. It was the first time I met this guy, he seems nice, very personable, smart and at 24 years old, he knows what he wants out of life. If the client gives the ok, I think I am going to like working with him.
The rain stopped while we were talking. I came back home, did a few things, had lunch, then went out for a drive. I decided to go towards Lawrencetown Beach, then loop up to Porters Lake and back. It was a bit windy, so some nice waves in Lawrencetown. There is one side road that I usually check for birds and I did see some Canada geese there. On that side road there is a building, I have planned to stop and take some photos, but kept getting sidetracked watching for birds. I did get a couple of photos today, then I saw the bicycle things on the far side of it, and had to get a couple photos of them too. Coming back home there was some ice pellets coming down for a few minutes. A typical Nova Scotia spring day, if you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes and it will change.
