WAITING

I'd gone back to Mum's house after spending the day in A&E with her. They were getting her ready to come home and I went ahead to get the bed ready and put the kettle on. I was walking around expecting Sister R to turn up with her at any moment and I took this through the porch window. Then R phoned to say they'd decided to keep Mum in overnight because they were a little concerned about some blood results.
