Mrs Goosander

Beautiful fresh frosty spring morning, we went out before work to our local stretch of the river Nidd - no otters seen today, but we were blessed with a kingfisher fly past down the river, good sightings of Mr and Mrs goosander, a couple of pairs of mandarin and a yellow hammer.
I do like these beautiful birds
